JP Food Trucks LLC recently won a bid to build the North Dakota Forestry Service a 20′ mobile field kitchen for use when their staff is out batting wildfires and other natural disasters throughout the United States. The whole premise of this project was that when the field workers were away from the office, saving lives and property, they needed a landing space to make hot meals and store adequate supplies for the staff to enjoy during their rest breaks. In this project, a custom built 20′ enclosed trailer was used. The trailer included a large griddle, a 4-burner oven, reach in refrigerator and freezer, upper and lower kitchen cabinets, an escape hatch as an additional form of egress and a large tongue mount generator. We also added an 18′ powered awning and 8 LED light bars to the outside of the trailer, anticipating that where this unit may be parked may be extremely remote and dark. We want to thank the North Dakota Forestry Service for the work that they do, preserving our forests and other natural resources every day! We are proud to support that mission in a way we can!
