We were approached by the Binghamton School Foundation to help solve a problem the college was experiencing. Most of the student population is from the NYC metro area, where food trucks are an everyday staple of life.

In Binghamton, food trucks did not share the same level of popularity as they do in other metro areas, and dining halls were the preferred place to gather and hang out. Especially after the “late night” bus returned to campus (I think you know what I mean).

This created a overcrowding of the dining late at night, and to combat this, the food truck idea was born. It not only solved the dining hall issues, but it also provided a sense of “home” to the students who it served. Now, the trucks are used all over campus, day and night serving meals to the students and other various outreach programs!
